RainThe first morning lightRain by Sateriasis
Peaks through the curtains
And warms the angles skin
Til it gets too much
And they wake to each other
The angle opens his eyes
In a cloud of pillows and sheets
And see's his angle beside him
And knows everything is right
And he feels it in his soul again
Like the summer rain falling in his hands
Emotion running through his heart again
And he feels it
The angle opens her eyes
To the kiss of another
And a smile greets her face
As she knows everything is right
And she feels it in her soul again
Like the summer rain falling in her hands
Emotion running through her heart again
And she feels it
And its in their touch when they hug together
And its in their lips when they kiss each other
And its on their mind when they see each other
They can feel it
I woke up dead todayI woke up dead today by SMURFWHOLOVESBANANAS
I woke up dead today, alone and cold.
I turned over and my life told me that my heart had been sold.
I shut my eyes and dreamed of you, the thing I'll never have.
The person, I realize now, that I never truly knew.
I have to pack my bags, and walk away from you.
Because I promised myself if you said it was through, it'd be through.
How many tears can you cry, when you didn't have a full heart to start with?
When you lived off of a beggars dreams, and a youthful wish?
Thrown from a dream come true, back into the dungeon of doom.
To be locked away with my selfpitty and death as my groom,
I stand at the alter of self distruction or the strength of another.
Just to find that God no longer thinks it's worth his time to bother.
Down on my knee's praying for something like grace.
Looking my pain straight in the face.
I can't lie, you broke me like no one else before you.
Scattered the broken pieces of my heart to the winds, and they flew.
Maybe, tomorrow, I can wake up a little less cold.
